La vie des conducteurs de cylopousses à Phnom Penh

Hong Sok Heng a 72 year old war veteran works as a Cyclo (trishaw) driver, transporting clients around the city. Working in Cambodia’s capital 15-20 days every month he lives on the streets, sleeping in his cyclo at night, and waiting for customers around the capital’s Old Market (Phsar Chas) during the day. The Cyclo, french for trishaw is the common name around Phnom Penh for these 3 wheeled cycles used for transporting people, families and goods. Sok Heng has been riding around the capital for the past 10 years. He works for his youngest daughter he says, ‘What i do every day i do for my youngest daughter, whenever she is old enough i will no longer worry about her.’
